French media outlet La Provence reported that Olympique Marseille have contacted Paul Pogba agent to inquire about the possibility of working with him.

It was previously report that Olympique de Marseille had begun negotiations with Pogba over the possibility of working with him in the future. With Juventus reportedly preparing to part ways with the 31-year-old midfielder despite the player’s doping ban set to expire in March next year.

The midfielder is still out of action following the ban for failing a doping test, which was reduce on appeal from four years to just 18 months.

It means he would be able to return to training from January and be back on the field in competitive matches in March.

However, French national media outlet RMC claimed the report was not true, as OM has not made any moves or approached Pogba. 

The latest news from La Provence, a local media outlet in France. Revealed that Marseille has actually contacted Pogba’s agent. But the discussions are only in the process of asking about opportunities and have not yet reached the point of negotiating a contract or any details.

It’s not just Marseille who are interest in Pogba. With reports suggesting that clubs from Major League Soccer in the US are also keen on the player.
